Lolo Lavish is a self-initiated siren from the south side of Houston. Her conjure comes from bayou city water, Bajan juju, Ghanaian great-grandmothers, and a family history rooted in Hoodoo. She’s a goddess casting spells across the Gulf Coast. She's a swamp water sovereign promoting the power of the sea.
Known as The High Siren, The Mermaid Mentor and The Water Goddess of Westheimer, she helps water signs, water witches and water deity devotees dive into their divinity. She helps feminine people process primordial oceanic power and develop deep sea success. She helps present-day sirens perceive their depth and modern-day mermaids master their magic.
Lolo Lavish founded Houston's first spiritual center for adult entertainers. The Blue Dollar began as an adult dancewear store and evolved into a one-stop shop for sirens. Before learning she was psychic, she was always a siren. She knew that seduction was a source of power and sovereignty was a sign of success. After learning more on mermaids, she made it her mission to help other spicy workers understand their spiritual purpose. Sirens sink ships that siphon from the sea. Mermaids hunt the men who harm the matriarch. Her store worked against the demonization of feminine desire and the criminalization of the conjure woman. Her brand became the message of the mermaid. Mermaids and sirens rule the reproductive system so Lolo felt it was important that people understand the connection of sensuality to the sea. She wanted people to know that water is the original womb and therefore our first form of wealth. From song-infused candles to seashells in ritual oils, The Blue Dollar proved that mermaids rule the marketplace. From her costumes appearing on STARZ's P-Valley to her clients appearing on Zeus Network's Joseline's Cabaret, Lolo Lavish proved that sirens are the evidence of feminine success. When public recognition became a safety risk, she closed the storefront to soar into the sea of social media. Before leaving the brick-and-mortar, she gave birth to productions such as The Ms. Mermaid Pageant and Mermaids in Metairie.
Her work continues within the digital waves. As mermaids do, she uses humor to heal, comedy to educate, and laughter to liberate. From storytelling of sea goddesses to educational content on sea queens, her goal is to fill the gaps that colonization created. Her mission is the return of the matriarch and the rise of the mermaid. Lolo Lavish is a siren searching to emancipate as many feminine people as she can.
